Mark is where Blood Sense moves from general awareness to precise, targeted understanding of a single subject. A practitioner using Mark has already identified something worth examining, Mark is the deep read, the investigation that goes past surface vitality and bloodline nature into the specific: history of blood exposure, supernatural affiliation, physical condition, and the kind of detailed situational awareness that makes the difference between knowing there's a threat and knowing exactly what it is and what it needs.

Mark requires a subject the practitioner can focus on specifically. It does not work at range without a prior Sense read establishing the target.

Mark- Applications

Deep Vitals (Primary Action, Threshold 2)

The practitioner reads a specific target's physical condition with precision. This surfaces: current Health state relative to maximum, any conditions they are currently under (injured, poisoned, diseased, supernatural affliction), whether they have fed on blood recently or been fed on, and how long they would survive without intervention if injured.

For a practitioner who does investigation work, forensics, medical triage, or understanding what a target can physically sustain before breaking, this is operational information.

Scaling: Excess successes identify the specific cause of any active condition (what poison, what disease, what supernatural affliction) and whether it is treatable by conventional means.

Supernatural Assessment (Primary Action, Threshold 3)

The practitioner reads a target's full supernatural profile, not just their lineage, but the extent and nature of any powers they carry, active contracts or obligations, whether they are currently operating under a supernatural compulsion or influence, and what tradition or category their power belongs to (Force, Resonance, Form). This is the read that answers "what exactly am I dealing with and what can it do."

The result is not a perfect mechanical stat dump; it is an informed impression. A practitioner might learn that a target carries Force power of significant depth and a shadow compact affiliation, without learning the specific Tradition's name. Greater depth of rating in Blood Sense corresponds to greater precision in the result.

Scaling: Each excess success above Threshold provides one additional specific detail the practitioner can direct: the approximate strength of a specific power, the nature of a specific contract obligation, or a specific known weakness of the target's supernatural type.
